Operations Administrator



37.5 Hours / Week


The role is to carry out the administration tasks within the Operations Team in a timely manner, ensuring that all paperwork for regulated work is sent to various water companies correctly and on time, assisting the Operations Administration Manager to ensure that mains are installed, commissioned and services are connected in accordance with WIRS accreditation. It is your responsibility to liaise with water companies and Site Managers to ensure that the process from call off to the completion runs smoothly.


  • Answering incoming calls, taking and relaying messages.
  • Responding to email queries and problems applicable to own competency level and escalating where necessary to relevant Departmental Manager.
  • Data input into company data base.
  • Escalate issues to Line Manager or relevant Departmental Manager at the earliest opportunity to ensure speedy resolution.




  • Good use of IT skills with Microsoft office package
  • Accuracy and an eye for detail

  • Good communicator and Listener
  • Able to solve problems
