Health Club Sales Manager:

Our Client is currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our clients team to take on the responsibility of Memberships Sales, front of house team and Administration. This role involves overseeing all aspects of gym membership sales, cancellations, retention and general administrative tasks, as well as taking on duty management responsibilities and providing line management of the front of house team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Membership Sales Management:
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive membership sales and meet monthly targets.
  • Conduct tours of the facility for prospective members and effectively communicate the benefits of joining the club.
  • Handle membership inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions, providing accurate information and exceptional customer service.
  • Assist in organising and executing membership promotions, events, and initiatives to attract new members.
  • Train and development of the front of house team to deliver on monthly membership sales targets
  • Membership Administration:
  • Manage all aspects of membership administration, including new member sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date member records using the gym management software system.
  • Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and resolve any membership-related issues in a timely manner.

Duty Management:

  • Take on duty management responsibilities, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the club.
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of the facility, including cleanliness, equipment maintenance, policies and procedures and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Address any customer concerns or emergencies as they arise, providing effective solutions and maintaining a positive member experience.

Line Management:

  • Provide leadership and support to the front of house team, including receptionists and customer service staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to ensure high levels of service delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development among team members.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in sales and achieving set targets, preferably in the fitness or health industry.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership experience with a track record of effectively managing people.
  • Proficiency in gym management software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Hours:  You need to be flexible on the hours and this role will include unsociable hours – Full time

Pay: Up to £26,000.00 per year
