We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, an award-winning contract testing laboratory based in Brackmills, Northampton. Recognised for their innovation and positive impact, they provide high-quality testing and analytical services to healthcare, commercial and public sector clients across the UK.

They’re now looking for a Customer Support professional to join their growing team. Working within a fast-paced environment, you’ll play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient communication, coordination, and support.

The Role

You’ll act as a vital link between the laboratory team and their customers – handling enquiries, processing orders, updating clients on sample progress, and ensuring accurate data entry within internal systems. You’ll need to be organised, detail-focused and confident communicating with a wide range of customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to clients, responding promptly to enquiries and requests
  • Dealing promptly with customer queries using ZOHO ticket & CRM system.
  • Liaise closely with laboratory teams to ensure client deadlines and requirements are met
  • Produce and issue reports, certificates, and other documentation in line with company standards
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with administrative tasks to support ongoing projects
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the customer service process
  • Responsible for building and strengthening the customer relationship
  • Managing expectations and being the trusted point of contact for all
  • Liaising with business functions to support both the customer and 20/30Labs
  • Coordination and resolution of customer queries

 

About You

  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, or office support role
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and data management systems
  • A positive, proactive and professional approach to problem solving
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise activities based on commercial significance
