CAD Technician

We are working alongside a strong player in the construction and housing development industry to recruit an additional CAD Technician to the growing team. This is an exciting role for a pro-active, ambitious individual who has a familiarity with CAD and an eagerness to develop. The company offers strong routes for progression and the role is open to school and college leavers, university graduates or those with more experience.

Working within a precise and customer focused department, the candidate will need a flexible approach and be committed to achieving daily targets.

Key Tasks

  • Liaising with customers to agree design details

  • Preparation & revisions to layout drawings with a high level of accuracy

  • Preparation of production documentation.

  • Planning and management of multiple projects

  • Liaison with internal and external customers

  • Assist customers and colleagues on technical support

  • Respond to customer queries adhering to Customer Service Standards at all times

 

Key Attributes

  • Have knowledge of Autocad
  • Experience of working in a CAD environment within a building trade.
  • Proven track record of excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines
  • Able to produce professional and grammatically correct correspondence
  • Have a positive and problem solving attitude to all challenges
